The right service depends on what you are trying to achieve, so we start there rather than with a package list. If the goal is impact protection -- rock chips, sandblasting and road debris on a car covering highway miles -- paint protection film is the answer, because it is a physical layer thick enough to absorb a hit. If the goal is easier maintenance and durable gloss, a ceramic coating is the better fit: it bonds to the clear coat, makes the surface hydrophobic, and means dirt releases during a wash instead of being ground in by it. Window tint addresses heat and glare, and interior work addresses wear. Many vehicles want a combination, and we recommend against how you actually drive and store the car rather than by tier. We would rather sell you the right smaller job than the wrong larger one.

Yes. Every protection service we offer includes at least a gloss enhancement polish, and the premium packages add multi-stage correction to remove defects before anything is sealed over them. The reason is simple: both ceramic coatings and paint protection film are transparent and permanent on the timescale of years, so whatever is on the paint when they go on stays there underneath. Coating over swirl marks preserves the swirl marks; filming over a scratch preserves the scratch and magnifies it. Correction is measured rather than guessed -- we take paint thickness readings with a depth gauge before any machine touches the car, so we know how much clear coat there is to work with and stop well short of the limit on thin or resprayed panels. That measurement is what keeps correction safe on paint that has been worked before.

It depends on the service and, more often, on the condition of the vehicle. Detailing is frequently same-day. Ceramic coating installs are usually one to two days, the variable being how much paint correction is needed first and how long the system has to cure afterwards in our climate-controlled studio. Paint protection film depends on coverage: a full front is typically one day, a track package one to two, and a full-body wrap three to four, plus correction time on top where the paint needs it. Window tint is usually same-day unless old film has to come off first, which is slow, unpredictable work. We set a clear schedule before we start rather than after, and tell you promptly if the inspection changes it. Condition drives the estimate far more than the size of the vehicle does.

Hand washes with a pH-neutral soap, safe drying, and periodic inspections -- and above all, staying out of automatic brush washes, which are the most reliable way to put swirl marks back into corrected paint. Use a two-bucket method or a grit guard, clean microfibre changed often, and a plush drying towel rather than letting the car air-dry and water-spot. Beyond the washing, protection benefits from scheduled attention: coatings want their hydrophobics refreshed, and paint protection film wants its edges inspected, because lifting starts at an edge and is cheap to fix early and expensive later. We offer maintenance plans covering exactly this, on a cadence matched to how the car is driven and stored, and they are what keeps a coating performing for its full rated life. The cadence matters more than any single product you put on the car.

Most installs happen in our controlled studio in Milford, and that is a quality decision rather than a convenience one. Ceramic coatings only cross-link properly within a controlled temperature and humidity range, paint correction needs consistent lighting to inspect honestly, and film needs a clean, temperature-stable space to lay without contamination trapped underneath. A driveway in New Hampshire supplies none of those reliably in any season. Select maintenance services are less environment-dependent and may be able to travel, so it is worth asking during booking, and we will tell you honestly whether the result would match what we could do in the studio. For most customers the practical answer is concierge pickup by appointment, which removes the trip without compromising the work. Where we cannot do something well on site, we will say so rather than take the booking.

Absolutely, and most of our larger jobs are combinations. Ceramic coating and paint protection film pair particularly well because they solve different problems: film absorbs physical impact on the front third where the damage lands, and a coating over the whole vehicle -- film included -- makes everything bead and clean the same way, so there is no visible line between the filmed and unfilmed panels. Window tint and interior protection layer on top of either without conflict. What matters is sequencing: correction comes first, then film, then coating over the top, and each stage needs its own time in the schedule. We bundle to match your goals and timeline, and we will say where a combination is not worth the money for how you use the car. Sequencing is the part that is easy to get wrong and expensive to undo.
